BISTRO SINISTRO "MATCH" CARDS

Art trading cards are fun. There are over 200 BistroSinistro MATCH cards to collect. More are made every month.

Each BISTRO SINISTRO card features the artwork of Ed STASTNY and, in the lower right corner, two letter-symbols. There are ten different symbols: 5 white and 5 black letters, the letters . Each letter correlates to aspects of the artwork based on a number of criteria, including content, color, media and design elements. For example: denotes "animal" or "red". A card with a on it might feature a "juggling bear" (animal) or a "crimson face" (red).

MATCHrix GAME

MATCHrix is the first game created to make use of the special MATCH markings. It's a little bit like dominoes and creates quite a colorful display on your tabletop. Click here to read the rules.

OBTAINING CARDS

You can get your own MATCH cards in one of many ways...

• MEET Ed during his travels and trade with him
• ORDER goods from BistroSinistro. Each shipment of magnets, shirts, greeting cards or prints from this site comes with a couple MATCH cards included.
• FIND them chewed to a slobbery pulp between the sofa cushions
• TRADE with friends
• BUY a set of cards directly from Ed
• SEND BistroSinistro e-cards to your friends. Each month, an e-card sender is chosen randomly to receive a care package of art goodies.

You can jumpstart your collection by ordering a set of 25 MATCH cards (click that link to order via PayPal).
